Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (or vegetarian substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Garnish:

  • 1 green onion (sliced)
  • sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook vegetables: Add onion and bell pepper, cook until slightly softened. Add zucchini, cook until tender-crisp and lightly browned. Stir in garlic.
  3. Add seasonings: Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat and cook briefly.
  4. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve as a side or over rice.
