Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices deli ham
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Vegetable oil for frying or baking

For the Dijon Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  2. Prepare coating: Set up bowls with flour, egg mixture, and breadcrumbs with seasonings. Coat chicken rolls in sequence.
  3. Sear and bake: Sear rolls until golden, then bake for 20–25 minutes.
  4. Make Dijon sauce: Melt butter, whisk in flour, add milk and cream, then stir in remaining ingredients. Season to taste.
  5. Serve: Slice chicken, drizzle with Dijon sauce, and enjoy!

Notes
