Optional Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, then add sour cream and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and melted butter to create streusel.
  6. Spread half the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with half the streusel, then add the remaining batter and top with remaining streusel.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool slightly before drizzling with optional glaze.

Notes

  • For added texture, fold ½ cup chopped nuts into the streusel.
