  • 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, water, butter, and egg. Knead until smooth, then let rise for 1 hour.
  2. Make the Topping: Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and cream in a saucepan. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  3. Fill and Shape: Roll out dough, spread with butter and cinnamon sugar, roll up, and slice into rolls. Place over topping.
  4. Rise and Bake: Let the rolls rise, then bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes until golden.
