Brownie Batter:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
Spider Web Topping:
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
- 1–2 teaspoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix brownie batter: Whisk melted butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla. Sift in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake: Spread batter in pan and bake for 20–25 minutes. Cool completely.
- Make spider web topping: Melt white chocolate with oil, then pipe concentric circles on brownies. Use a toothpick to create a web design.
- Serve: Let the topping set before slicing into squares.
