Cauliflower Stir-Fry:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower (cut into small florets)
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1/2 red onion (sliced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tsp water (slurry)

Garnish:

  • 1 green onion (sliced)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Stir-fry cauliflower: Add cauliflower florets and cook for 5–7 minutes until slightly browned.
  3. Add vegetables: Add red bell pepper and red onion, continue stir-frying for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Flavor infusion: Stir in garlic and ginger, cook for 1 minute.
  5. Prepare sauce: Whisk soy sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  6. Coat vegetables: Pour sauce over vegetables, toss to coat.
  7. Thicken sauce: Add cornstarch slurry, cook until sauce thickens.
  8. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
