Chicken:

Sauce:
- 1 (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Additional:
- 2 cups fresh spinach or 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat
- Chopped fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Make the Sauce: In a bowl, combine crushed tomatoes, chicken broth, garlic, onion powder, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour over the chicken.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the Chicken: Remove chicken, shred or slice, then return to slow cooker.
- Add Cream and Cheese: Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan. Mix in spinach or basil until wilted.
