Beef Brisket:

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
For the BBQ Sauce:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: Mix together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chili powder. Rub the spice mixture over the brisket. Sear the brisket in a skillet until browned.
- Make the BBQ Sauce: Whisk together ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, liquid smoke, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
