Instructions
- Cook the Berries: In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook the berries for 5–7 minutes until they break down and become syrupy, stirring occasionally.
- Mash the Berries: Gently mash the cooked berries with a fork or potato masher to reach your desired texture.
- Add Chia Seeds and Sweetener: Remove the mixture from heat and stir in chia seeds, maple syrup or honey, and lemon juice if desired. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes to thicken.
- Chill and Store: Once thickened, transfer the jam to a jar or container. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before using.
