Crescent Roll Dough:

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash – optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and green onions if using.
  4. Assemble the crescents: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the point, enclosing the filling.
