Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and melted butter. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir to combine.
- Fold in apples and nuts: Fold in the diced apples and nuts if using. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
