Coconut Filling:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup cream of coconut

Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Extra shredded coconut for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cake: Bake the chocolate cake in a 9×13-inch baking dish according to package instructions.
  2. Add Filling: While the cake is warm, poke holes all over the surface and pour the condensed milk and cream of coconut mixture over it.
