Description

These Mini Heart-Shaped Pizzas are a delightful and fun twist on traditional pizza. Perfect for Valentine’s Day or any time you want to spread some love with a delicious homemade treat.


Ingredients

Pizza Dough:

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

Pizza Toppings:

1/2 cup pizza sauce, 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or sliced regular pepperoni, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1 tablespoon olive oil, flour for dusting, fresh basil or red pepper flakes for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Dough: Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter or cut out hearts with a knife to make 3- to 4-inch mini pizzas.
  3. Assemble Pizzas: Transfer the hearts to the prepared baking sheet. Lightly brush each dough heart with olive oil. Spoon pizza sauce onto each, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then top with mini pepperoni or preferred toppings. Sprinkle with dried oregano.
  4. Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and melted. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil or red pepper flakes if desired.
