- 1–2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare the baking sheet: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add the lemon juice and zest, and mix well.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Shape and bake: Scoop the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly and bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack.
- Make the glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies and let set before serving.
