- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder (culinary grade)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Additional:
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together sweet rice flour, sugar, matcha powder, and baking powder.
- Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Blend wet and dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 35–40 minutes until set.
- Cool and serve: Let it cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
