Ingredients
Turkey:
1 (3 to 4-pound) boneless turkey breast (skin-on)
Maple Glaze:
1/3 cup pure maple syrup, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried), 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic, thyme, black pepper, salt, and smoked paprika.
- Prep the turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry and place it on a rack in a roasting pan, skin side up.
- Glaze the turkey: Brush the turkey breast with half of the maple glaze.
- Roast the turkey: Roast for 45 minutes, then brush with more glaze. Continue roasting for 30–40 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Final glaze: Brush with glaze during the last 10 minutes for a caramelized finish. Let the turkey rest before slicing.
