Broth:
- 4 cups chicken or turkey broth
Eggs and Seasonings:
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix Ingredients: Combine crumbled cornbread and bread cubes in a large bowl. Sauté onion and celery until softened, then add to the bread mixture. Mix in seasonings and melted butter. Add enough broth to moisten the mixture. Stir in beaten eggs.
- Bake: Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
