  • 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts or almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Extracts and Flour: Add vanilla and almond extracts and mix until combined. Stir in the flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  4. Include Nuts: Fold in the chopped nuts. Scoop out small portions of dough and roll into balls.
  5. Bake: Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 14–16 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Cool and Coat: Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes, then roll each in powdered sugar while warm. Let them cool completely on a wire rack and roll again in powdered sugar.
