- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Hot Honey Drizzle:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce (more to taste)
- 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Prepare the chicken: Whisk together buttermilk and hot sauce in a shallow dish. In another bowl, combine cornflakes, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken into buttermilk mixture, then coat with cornflake mixture. Place on baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
- Bake the chicken: Bake for 22–25 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
- Make the hot honey drizzle: In a saucepan, warm honey, hot sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Drizzle over baked chicken before serving.
