Instructions

- Knead and Rest: Knead the dough on a floured surface for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
- Shape and Fry: Roll out dough to 1/4-inch thickness and cut into squares or triangles. Heat oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep pan. Fry sopapillas until golden brown on both sides, about 1 minute per side.
- Serve: Drain on paper towels, dust with powdered sugar, and drizzle with honey before serving.
