Peach Lemonade:

  • 4 ripe peaches (pitted and chopped)
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 cup ice
  • peach slices and lemon wheels for garnish (optional)
  • fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the Peaches: In a blender, combine the chopped peaches and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the Puree: Pour the peach puree through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
  3. Add Lemon Juice and Sugar: Add the lemon juice and sugar to the pitcher, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Mix in Water and Ice: Stir in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and ice.
  5. Adjust Sweetness and Chill: Taste and adjust sweetness as desired. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve: Serve over ice and garnish with peach slices, lemon wheels, or mint if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace half of the water with chilled club soda just before serving.
