Description

Indulge in this creamy and flavorful Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta that is sure to become a family favorite. Tender chicken, al dente pasta, and a rich Parmesan cream sauce come together beautifully in this easy-to-make dish.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Sauce:

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup chicken broth

Additional Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Extra Parmesan for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to deglaze the pan. Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Combine and Serve: Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or sun-dried tomatoes.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
  • This dish pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
