Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Rice Mixture:

- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup water
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer Rice: Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- Mix Soups: In a separate bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and water until smooth. Pour over the rice.
- Add Chicken: Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice and soup mixture.
- Season and Bake: Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the top, dot with butter if desired, and season with salt and pepper. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Remove from the oven, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
