  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained or use oven-ready
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the Meat: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with onion until browned. Add garlic and cook, then drain any excess fat. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer.
  3. Prepare the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer the Lasagna: Spread meat sauce in a baking dish, layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and repeat. Top with Parmesan.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly.
