Seasoning:

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Lemon Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season the chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Lemon Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Combine and Simmer: Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the lemon sauce over the top. Simmer for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
