Green Bean Casserole:
- 4 cups canned or cooked green beans (drained)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1 1/3 cups French fried onions (divided)
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir well.
- Add Onions: Fold in 2/3 cup of French fried onions.
- Bake: Transfer mixture to a 9×9-inch baking dish, spread evenly, and bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
- Top and Bake Again: Remove from oven, sprinkle remaining fried onions over the top, and bake for another 5 minutes until golden and crispy.
