Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Creamy Ranch Sauce:
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Garnish:
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides.
- In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the ranch seasoning mix, heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, and dried thyme.
Stir until the sauce is smooth and well combined.
- Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning some of the creamy sauce over the top.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, and serve immediately with the creamy ranch sauce.
