Main Bread:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry and wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. In a separate bowl, mix egg, milk, oil, and vanilla. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until just combined.
  3. Prepare cinnamon swirl: In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  4. Layer batter and swirl mixture: Pour half of the batter into the pan, spoon half of the cinnamon swirl on top, swirl gently with a knife. Repeat with remaining batter and swirl.
  5. Bake and glaze: Bake for 45–50 minutes. Let cool, then mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over loaf.
