  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam, warmed
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Prepare the crust: Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 8–10 minutes. Cool.
  3. Make the filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and melted chocolate. Mix well. Add eggs one at a time, mixing gently.
  4. Bake: Pour filling over crust. Bake for 55–65 minutes until set but slightly jiggly. Cool in the oven, then chill for at least 4 hours.
  5. Finish: Top with sliced strawberries, warmed jam, whipped cream, and chocolate shavings before serving.
