Description

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Peanut Butter Layer:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, divided

For the Chocolate Pudding Layer:

  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk

For Topping:

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Layer: Beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and peanut butter until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping, then spread this mixture over the cookie crust.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Pudding: Whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Spread the pudding over the peanut butter layer.
  4. Assemble and Chill: Top with the remaining whipped topping, mini chocolate chips, chopped peanuts, and chocolate syrup. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For added crunch, sprinkle crushed pretzels between the layers.
