Indulge in these delightful Chocolate Enrobed Berry Gelee treats that offer a burst of fruity flavor encased in rich dark chocolate. These vegan-friendly bites are perfect for a sweet treat or elegant dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Berry Gelee:

  • 1 1/2 cups mixed berry puree (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons agar-agar powder (or 3 tablespoons gelatin for non-vegan version)

Chocolate Coating:

  • 12 ounces dark chocolate (chopped or chips)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Berry Gelee: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper. Cook berry puree, water, lemon juice, and sugar until simmering. Add agar-agar, cook until thickened. Pour into pan, cool, and refrigerate.
  2. Cut and Dip: Cut gelée into shapes. Melt chocolate and coconut oil, dip gelée, place on tray.
  3. Chill and Serve: Chill to set chocolate. Enjoy chilled or at room temperature.
