Ingredients
Fettuccine Pasta:
12 ounces fettuccine pasta,
Chicken Sausage:
12 ounces cooked chicken sausage (sliced into rounds),
Alfredo Sauce:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 cloves garlic (minced), 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, ½ cup whole milk, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Fettuccine: Boil fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Prepare the Chicken Sausage: In a skillet, brown chicken sausage slices in butter over medium heat for 4–5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Make the Alfredo Sauce: Reduce heat, add cream and milk to the skillet. Stir in Parmesan until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine and Serve: Toss cooked pasta in Alfredo sauce. Add reserved pasta water if needed. Garnish with parsley and serve.
