Dough:

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Add White Chocolate: Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Bake: Scoop dough into rounded tablespoons and place 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 9–11 minutes until lightly golden. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
