Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Add Mix-ins: Fold in the cherries and nuts if using.
  6. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
