Sauce:

Cheese and Toppings:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking dish: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta: Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. Combine pasta with sauce: In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta with marinara sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Add 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan, and half of the pepperoni; stir well.
  4. Assemble and bake: Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish, spread evenly. Top with remaining mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Rest and serve: Let the bake rest for 5 minutes, garnish with fresh basil or parsley, and serve.
