- 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies (drained)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 (9.75 oz) bag nacho cheese Doritos (crushed slightly)
- Chopped cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. In a large bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, drained tomatoes with green chilies, 1 cup cheddar cheese, taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir in the shredded chicken until evenly coated. Spread half of the crushed Doritos in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spoon the chicken mixture over the Doritos and spread evenly. Top with remaining Doritos and sprinkle with the rest of the cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden. Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, use spicy Doritos or add chopped jalapeños.
- This casserole is great for using up rotisserie chicken and can be made ahead and reheated.
