- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 3 cups beef broth or water
- 2 cans (15 oz each) tomato sauce
- 2 cans (15 oz each) diced tomatoes
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Brown the Beef: In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.

- Simmer: Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 15–20 minutes to blend flavors.
- Cook Pasta: Add the uncooked elbow macaroni, stir, cover, and simmer until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes.
- Finish: Remove bay leaves, turn off heat, and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sauté diced onions with the beef.
- You can substitute ground turkey or Italian sausage for the beef.
- Add vegetables such as bell peppers or peas to make it heartier.
- Use low-sodium broth and soy sauce if reducing salt content.
