Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Prepare asparagus: Steam or blanch asparagus until tender. Drain and set aside.
- Make cheese sauce: Melt butter, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream, cheeses, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine ingredients: Add asparagus to cheese sauce, toss to coat, and pour into baking dish.
- Add topping: Mix crushed crackers with melted butter, sprinkle over casserole.
