  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup caramel sauce, plus more for drizzling
  • Optional pinch of sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. Make the Crust: Combine graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into the pan and bake.
  3. Prepare the Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth, add sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Pour over the crust.
  4. Add Caramel: Drizzle caramel sauce over the filling and swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until set. Cool, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  6. Serve: Slice into bars, drizzle with more caramel and a pinch of sea salt if desired.
