Marinated Chicken:

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala

  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or ghee
  • 1 large onion (finely chopped)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: Combine chicken with yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and salt. Marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Cook the Sauce: Sauté onion, garlic, ginger, chili powder, and paprika. Add marinated chicken, tomato sauce, and simmer. Stir in cream and butter.
