Marinated Chicken:

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt to taste

- Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and half of the black pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes.
- Stir-Fry Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Stir-fry marinated chicken until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: In the same pan, sauté garlic, ginger, and onion until fragrant. Add bell peppers and stir-fry until slightly tender.
- Combine Ingredients: Return chicken to the pan, add rice vinegar, water, sugar, remaining black pepper, and salt. Stir well to coat evenly.
- Finish and Serve: Cook for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens. Serve hot over steamed rice.
