Instructions
- Prepare the Base: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Layer the Bars: Press half of the oat mixture firmly into the prepared dish.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours or until fully set. Cut into bars and serve chilled.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar together, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Add vanilla and a pinch of salt, then stir in oats. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently until the oats are well-coated and slightly toasted.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Pour chocolate mixture over the oat layer and spread evenly. Top with the remaining oat mixture, gently pressing down.
