  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare muffin tin: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, combine mashed bananas and melted butter. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well mixed.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture and stir just until combined—do not overmix.
